Grooming Services

We take pride in providing the highest quality care to every pet that comes to us for spa services. Our groomer, DomUnique, is a graduate of the Concord School of Grooming and has been a vital part of our kennel team since 2019. She seeks to create a calm atmosphere for every patient while fostering clear communication and attention to detail.

Currently spa service appointments are available weekday mornings. Pricing is variable based on the breed and size of the patient. Routine veterinary care can also be provided with these visits.

We Can Accommodate:

  • Cat grooming
  • Senior patients
  • Medicated baths
  • Sedation options

How Grooming Keeps Your Dog and Cat Healthy

Cleanliness is an important part of your pet’s overall health. Most patients are groomed every 4-8 weeks depending on coat needs. Routine brushing and bathing can:

  • Prevent painful matting of the fur, which pulls on the skin and interferes with your pet’s ability to regulate their body temperature
  • Allow for the timely detection of parasites and/or skin conditions
  • Prevent dirt, oil, dandruff, and loose hair from building up

And don't forget nail trims, which are helpful for:

  • Reducing the potential for the nails to break or snag
  • Preventing fungal infections
  • Helping your pet maintain good posture and the ability to walk comfortably

What Your Pet Needs Before Their Grooming Visit

To maintain a safe and healthy environment at our hospital, we require that your pet be up-to-date with their vaccinations and parasite-free. For dogs, we require the Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella vaccines and for cats we require the FVRCP and Rabies vaccine. Puppies and kittens must be fully vaccinated and 16 weeks of age or older.
